About

The Dogs’ House Boarding Kennels is located in a quiet, peaceful, rural setting which is easily accessible, approximately 4 miles from Newtownards and 6 miles from Bangor.

The Dogs’ House opened in December 2005. The accommodation was carefully designed by myself, Julie Gorman (Proprietor), to provide a small number of luxury kennels offering a bright, spacious and happy environment in which dogs may enjoy their stay. Each kennel has underfloor heating which keeps our residents lovely and warm on the cold days and nights.

Exercise

The Dogs’ House has 3 large, securely enclosed exercise areas where each dog enjoys individual playtime, and exercise, with a member of staff several times every day. In addition dogs are taken for lead walks along a quiet country lane.

The extensive exercise paddock with a soft, all weather, surface provides a very large area which will stretch the legs of even the most active dogs.

Exercise is important even in wet weather, so The Dogs’ House waterproof coats provide extra comfort.

Requirements for Boarding

All dogs must be fully vaccinated, including Kennel Cough vaccine. Up to date vaccination records MUST be provided when a dog is being booked in.

It is recommended that all dogs are treated for worms and fleas before boarding. Any dog found to have worms or fleas during boarding will be treated and the owner charged accordingly.

Dogs will not be boarded without proof of current and up to date vaccinations.

Our full Terms and Conditions can be found here.
